All terroirs

Description

The Lavender & Garrigue Duo is a simple, reliable French honey gift: two 300 g jars, one gentle and floral, the other amber and aromatic. Both honeys are harvested in Provence by partner beekeepers, raw and unpasteurised, in their signature black jar. At €26 instead of €28, it is the most affordable of our honey gift sets.

What the duo contains

  • Lavender Honey, 300 g: pale, gentle and floral, with a fine, creamy crystallisation. The honey for breakfast, tea and desserts.
  • Garrigue Honey, 300 g: a wildflower honey from the Provençal hills, named after the wild Mediterranean scrubland, round and smooth, with notes of thyme and rosemary. For herbal teas, warm goat’s cheese and roasted vegetables.

That is 600 g of honey (€43.33 per kilo) for €26 instead of €28 when bought individually. Two pure honeys, never blended, with no added sugar, cold-extracted.

Who is it for?

For parents, a host, a colleague or anyone who loves gentle flavours. Two contrasting characters that are easy to tell apart: a delicate monofloral honey and a wildflower honey with personality. It is also a foodie gift that is shared and keeps for a long time. For a bolder taste, the Discovery Box adds thyme honey to this duo.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between lavender honey and garrigue honey?

Lavender honey comes mainly from lavender and lavandin flowers: it is pale, gentle and very floral, with a fine, creamy crystallisation. Garrigue honey is a wildflower honey, gathered from thyme, rosemary or savory depending on the year: more amber, smooth, with warm, aromatic notes.

Is delivery free for the duo?

Delivery in France is free on orders from €50: add two more jars, or a second duo, and your order passes that threshold. The duo is already discounted, so it cannot be combined with the multi-jar discounts.

Can I add a message for the person receiving the parcel?

Yes. Write your message in the order notes and we will copy it onto a card slipped into the parcel. Enter the recipient’s address as the delivery address and, if you wish, ask us to leave the invoice out.

Is this duo suitable for children?

Very gentle lavender honey is often a favourite with children, but only from the age of one: like all honey, it must never be given to a child under one year old, because of the risk of infant botulism.

How long do these honeys keep?

Several years at room temperature, with the lid closed, away from light. Crystallisation is natural in an unheated honey; a gentle bain-marie, below 40 °C, will make it liquid again if needed.
